About Us
Africa Creatives Alliance (ACA) is a pan-African umbrella network advancing the development, integration, and global competitiveness of Africa’s creative and cultural industries through a coalition of partners and members. We work across government, development, investment, and ecosystem institutions to activate the creative economy as a driver of economic growth, job creation, trade, and cultural influence.
Our Vision
A resilient, inclusive, and investment-ready African creative economy, where creativity drives economic growth, social transformation, and continental cultural leadership.
Our Mission
To catalyze Africa’s creative ecosystems by convening stakeholders, unlocking investment, shaping policy, building capacity, and positioning creativity as a core driver of sustainable development.
Our Role in the Creative Economy
We play a dual role as both a convening alliance and a delivery-oriented partner within Africa’s creative economy. As an umbrella platform, we connect public and private stakeholders across the creative economy value chain. As a service-driven organization, we support partners to design, implement, and scale creative economy interventions that are institutionally grounded, market-responsive, and evidence-based.

Strategic Pillars
Geared towards building a robust, job creating and enterprise development system.
Ecosystem Building & Convening
We connect our network of creative intermediaries—including hubs, incubators, accelerators, and makerspaces—with the public sector, private sector, development finance institutions, and investors. Through structured convening and partnership development, we bring all relevant actors together to drive collaboration, alignment, and system-level change across Africa’s creative economy.
Evidence-Based Advocacy & Policy Influence
We advance enabling policy and regulatory environments through applied research, evidence-based advocacy, and the development of practical knowledge products that support policy operationalization. We design frameworks, tools, and implementation guides that help governments and institutions translate policy mandates into actionable strategies.
Education & Capacity Building
We build capabilities across the ecosystem by strengthening institutions, intermediaries, and enterprises. Through training, technical assistance, and knowledge resources, we support effective implementation, institutional learning, and long-term sustainability.
Infrastructure & Investment Facilitation
We support the development and mobilization of financial, institutional, and market infrastructure required for a functioning creative economy. We work with public and private actors to strengthen investment readiness, design financing and market access pathways, and align creative enterprises and intermediaries with capital, markets, and distribution systems.
