Description
Call for Graphic Designer
Redesign the 'M-visual' logo for the 2026 programme with Kigali as the featured partner city.
The Opportunity: TheMuseumsLab is looking for an Rwanda-based graphic designer (emerging artist, established designer, or collective) to redesign the M-visual of our logo for the 2026 programme.
The selected artist will receive an honorarium of 3000 €. The final artwork will be featured across multiple media platforms and programme materials, representing the visual identity of this year’s programme.
Creative Brief Redesign the 'M':
Capture the network character while aligning with shared values of respect, diversity, and collaboration.
Theme Alignment: Engage with the 2026 theme 'Building Futures from Memory: Museums and Memorial Sites as Agents'.
Continuity: Must align with the overall identity. The 'M' should have similar dimensions/shape to previous logos. Typography must be retained.
Graphic Motifs: Create at least three associated graphic motifs that complement the logo design.
